‘It’s a very sad injury’: Lamine Yamal regrets Dani Carvajal’s ACL injury and hopes his senior returns to his career soon

FC Barcelona will not play any games for the next two and a half weeks because of the October international break. Some Blaugrana players will still be in the news, though, because they play for their national teams.

One player who is likely to play a big part during this international break is Lamine Yamal. He is already training with the Spanish national team for their UEFA Nations League match against Denmark.

Similar to how he has become an important part of Barcelona, Yamal has become a key player in the attack for his country. The young winger did an interview with Radio Nacional, which was revealed by Mundo Deportivo. He talked about many things related to his time with Spain and Barcelona.

Dani Carvajal’s major injury to his ACL has been one of the most important stories about his national team in the last few days. He will likely be out for most of the season against other teams.

In this interview, Yamal said that he was sorry about the injury that the Real Madrid leader had received and also gave an explanation for why so many players are getting such bad injuries:

“That hurts the national team and football in a very sad way.” He is a great player who has had a great year. We will miss him a lot. We’re playing a lot of games, but that’s what we have to do… That’s why we play.

There’s no question that the fact that the best players have to play so many games is going to blame for so many injuries. This season, Lamine Yamal has already seen a number of his Barcelona peers get hurt. These include Andreas Christensen, Marc Bernal, and Marc Andre Ter Stegen, all of whom will be out for a long time.
