“Can’t wait to see you back on the pitch,” said one additional person.
Odegaard disclosed the precise extent of his injuries two weeks ago.
“It was a bad twist to my ankle, and I damaged some ligaments there, but it’s part of football, and now I’m just trying to recover as quickly as I can,” he said to the media representing Arsenal.
“I’m making progress, going forward, and feeling better every day.
“I’m working very hard, and my only goal is to return as soon as I can.
“I’m working hard and making every effort to improve at the Sobha Realty Training Center almost every day now.
“UNFORTUNATE”I have to be cautious not to push it too far, but I also have to make every effort to ensure that I recover as fully and rapidly as possible.
“Now that I’m unable to be on the field, I’m attempting to help the squad in other ways. I have to make the most of my circumstances given the ones I’m in.
It’s not something I’m accustomed to. I’ve been really lucky, if that’s the right word, or have avoided injuries in the past, but this is football, and I have to play.
“It was regrettable that I sustained the injuries in the manner that I did, but things could have gone worse.
“It was an unpleasant turn of events, and at the time I thought it might be serious.
“I’ve injured my ankle before and the pain felt a bit different this time.”
Arsenal will return to action after the international break with a trip to Bournemouth.
