Foden has even passed on far-off places in favor of an expensive £14-a-day fishing vacation.
England’s angling-mad ace Phil Foden has relocated to an expansive rural property featuring a private lake for fishing.
Last month, the 24-year-old midfielder for Man City, his girlfriend Rebecca Cooke, and their three kids moved into the five-bedroom, five-bathroom home.

The property spans 2.5 acres, and Phil has already shared photos of him fishing with his oldest son Ronnie—also referred to as El Wey or The Dude by followers in South America.
“Late summer nights by the lake” is how he titled one of them.
According to a source, Phil has always wanted a house with a lake so he could fish in peace and quiet and teach Ronnie the techniques he needs to be a good angler. Everyone knows how much he loves to fish.
“They can set their kit up and leave it while they pop back into the house to get some food, or go to bed and leave it all there for the morning. Phil is loving it.”
Phil and Rebecca also have a daughter True, three, and baby boy Phil Jnr.
The Cheshire property has a one-bedroom cottage next door for his extended family.
Last week The Sun told how Phil plans to take up fishing full-time when he retires from football.
In the summer the England ace showed he was a reel man of the people — on a £14-a-day angling holiday on the edge of the Cotswolds.
The £200,000-a-week Man City star snubbed exotic destinations popular with his Three Lions team-mates to spend five days with his dad fishing for carp, catfish, tench, pike and perch.
An onlooker at Linear Fisheries in Witney, Oxfordshire, said: “Phil was happy as Larry camping out in a cheap tent.”
