However, he took a moment to return a call from Noah Ohio, his old teammate from their time together on the England Under-16 squad.

Ohio, a player for Utrecht in the Netherlands, was representing his country internationally.

While visiting a children’s hospital with some of the Dutch team, Ohio asked a young patient who his favorite player was.

And when the youngster replied saying Bellingham, Ohio suggested the pair call the Real Madrid star.

After Bellingham scored in Thursday’s Three Lions 2-1 loss to Greece, he took out his phone and FaceTimed Ohio and the child, inquiring about each other’s well-being.

After interpreting, Ohio held up his phone and instructed the youngster to stand next to Bellingham, who raised his thumb, for a picture.

Before the match against Belgium in March, Bellingham, 21, gave away his England jacket to keep a child in a wheelchair warm. As a result, he frequently takes the effort to watch out for kids.

He also donated a blanket to a young ballboy during a Spanish Cup win over Arandina last season.

Regarding the midfielder, Bellingham’s former Birmingham coach Mike Dodds said the following: “He’s just a magnificent human being, he’s a role model not just for the young kids in Birmingham, but now the nation.”

“He has compassion and total empathy for everyone in his immediate vicinity. As a human, I am at a loss for words when it comes to praising him.Regarding the midfielder, Bellingham’s former Birmingham coach Mike Dodds said the following: “He’s just a magnificent human being, he’s a role model not just for the young kids in Birmingham, but now the nation.”
