The 20-year-old first had trouble securing consistent playing time at Villa Park after joining the Villans from the Chicago Fire at the start of the previous season. According to reports, the Colombian grew dissatisfied at Aston Villa, which is why he was open to leaving this summer.

The forward has been deployed as an impact replacement because he hasn’t been able to establish himself in Emery’s starting eleven. With six goals in ten appearances across all competitions, he has had an incredible start to the season, despite only making one start.
