The celebrity discussed the causes of his impeccable injury record.
Despite his great injury record, Ben White has made jokes about being one of Arsenal’s most UNPROFESSIONAL players.
In the last four Premier League seasons, the defense for the Gunners has only missed nine games.
When asked how he accomplished this, White chuckled and said, “I really don’t know.” I wouldn’t be the most professional if you asked everyone at the club who they think is the best.
“I don’t stretch, I wouldn’t take an ice bath, none of that. Simply said, I never get hurt.
It is most likely due to the fact that I am not particularly strong or fast. I can simply trudge on. I’m able to tolerate a lot of [pain].
“Someone is going to play and do well and you might not make the team if you don’t play for a week. Everyone benefits from competition and leveling up.
After missing Arsenal’s past two Premier League games owing to a minor groin injury, White is expected to make his comeback to the squad on Saturday when they take on Bournemouth.
White, a player well-known for implying he is not fixated on the game, will not be found watching football while recuperating at home.
White clarified, “It’s not a big deal,” on that subject. It’s really severe at training, how many videos you have to watch each day.
Thus, all I want to do when I get home is forget about it. My parents don’t talk to me about it, there’s no football game on, and I don’t talk about it either. It’s as though I don’t work there.
“I want to stay that way; I’m just a regular man, and I always have been. My behavior doesn’t change once I’m at home. I prefer to keep the ordinary, everyday things to myself.
“Despite the misconception that I don’t watch or enjoy football, I could still tell you the majority of the characteristics of every winger I’ll be playing against.
“Playing right back, there are so many good wingers. Every game, every team, it is probably their best player. That’s why it is so difficult to play there in the Premier League.”
