Arsenal’s Positive Pursuit: Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal remains optimistic about signing Juventus attacking midfielder Dusan Vlahovic. 💪⚽️

Dusan Vlahovic, a phenomenal attacker for Juventus, is a target for Arsenal, under the leadership of Mikel Arteta.According to a report from CaughtOffside, Arsenal hopes to capture Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic next summer for a reduced cost. The Serbian international’s negotiations to extend his contract with the Turin-based team are not going well, and should he fail to reach an agreement, the Gunners may be able to sign him for a relatively cheap price.

When Vlahovic played for Fiorentina, he rose to fame. Due to his tremendous potential and impressive ascent, he relocated to Juventus in 2022. He has been a good servant to the Old Lady over the years. The 24-year-old has played in 111 games and contributed to 58 goals (48 goals, 10 assists).

He has had a fantastic start to the season, scoring seven goals and dishing out one assist in ten appearances. Although he continues to play a significant role in Juventus’ starting lineup, his future there doesn’t seem certain. By agreeing to a new deal that will end in the summer of 2026, the Turin-based squad hopes to secure the Serbian star’s long-term future.

Negotiations between the two sides haven’t gone as expected so far, though, and if he doesn’t sign a new contract before the current season ends, things might become tricky the following summer. Arsenal is the team keeping a careful eye on Vlahovic’s contract status because of their long-standing interest in him.

Vlahovic may be acquired by Arsenal. The Gunners tried to sign a new number nine last summer. Benjamin Sesko was their main target, but things didn’t work out that way. They are still looking for a new striker because Gabriel Jesus has had injury problems and hasn’t performed up to par.

Despite beginning, Kai Havertz’s best position isn’t as a striker. An all-around goal scorer is what Arteta’s club needs to compete with the top teams in Europe. Vlahovic is on their shortlist and is regarded as one of the best young strikers in the world.

It seems likely that he will be available next summer for a very low price. The Serie A team will be under pressure to sell him for at least €60 million, if not less, if he reaches the last 12 months of his contract there. Although Vlahovic is not the top choice, Arsenal might be forced to take advantage of his circumstances at Juventus if a good deal were to come up.
