Along with Kylian Mbappé and teenage actor Makena Cooke, the new Nike Football Mercurial shoe has a short film to promote it. It was always going to be easy for Nike to use Cristiano Ronaldo’s new Mercurial line against him. The question at hand was how to divide it between Mbappé and Neymar, two possible replacements for the player who was acting strangely. The Frenchman is the main character at least in this part.
Makena Cooke is well known, it looks like. This is because she was in the popular movie “Dream Further,” which is about the 2019 Nike Women’s World Cup. You may remember Mbappé from when he was a teenager and ruled the international scene, won the World Cup, and scored a lot of goals. There is a new movie where a teen athlete from California named Cooke dares Mbappé to a crossbar fight so that he can win his Nike Mercurial boots.
As you already know, she wins and gets to keep the boots, even though she probably will never be able to fit into them. Mbappé has to wear his socks to work. It doesn’t really matter, though. It’s not really that important. This is pretty much Nike’s last chance to show off the new Mercurial, and it gives us a chance to see how great the “New Lights” version really looks in real life.
