According to anonymous sources in SPORT, FC Barcelona has talked to the camp of Alphonso Davies, a star player for Bayern Munich who Real Madrid wants to sign, about a possible free move in 2025.
Since the beginning of the year, the Canadian has been strongly linked to Barcelona’s rivals in the Spanish city. MARCA said that they would make a move for him early in the summer transfer window.
But in the end, Bayern Munich wouldn’t discuss a lower fee for a player whose contract was coming to the end of its 12th month. This meant that the player couldn’t leave before the season started. Instead, Real Madrid settled for two attacking signings: Kylian Mbappe and Endrick.
There are still rumors going around that Madrid is planning to sign two players on June 30, 2025. They are left back Davies and right back Trent Alexander Arnold, both of whom are generally thought to be among the best in the world at their positions.
Along the same lines, Liverpool great Alexander Arnold will be a free agent on that date. This week, MARCA reported that the Reds are starting to think he won’t renew his contract with them.
