He was caught swearing at the referee while Real Madrid was shocked by AC Milan’s 3-1 win in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
The loss was Madrid’s second in Europe this season. The defending champions are now 17th in the league table, nine points behind Barcelona in LaLiga, but they have a game in hand over their rivals.
A little over a week ago, Madrid lost the first El Clasico of the season by a score of 4-0. On Tuesday, Milan ripped apart Madrid, and they have now given up seven goals in their last two games.
Carlo Ancelotti and his Madrid team are having a bad time, and things seem to be getting worse after Bellingham was caught.
The England player was caught on camera saying “**** you” to Slovenian referee Slavko Vincic in a tape that was shown on X.
The news source says that Bellingham wasn’t the only one who talked to the judges; Brazilian star Vinicius Jr. was also seen talking to the referee.
The story says that Vinicius told Vincic more than once, “you’re crazy.” Vinicius was controversially not nominated for the Ballon d’Or last week.
It was a bad night for both of Madrid’s stars because they lost their second game in a row.
After a slow start to the season, Los Blancos are under more and more pressure to get back on track. There are also rising doubts about Bellingham’s role in the team.
Thierry Henry looked at the friendship between the England star and Kylian Mbappe to try to explain why Madrid’s forwards were having so much trouble.
He told CBS Sports Golazo, “It’s always Bellingham trying to make the run, make the team play, run in behind, and break the line.”
It seems like there is some anger. Your nine isn’t going, but your 10 or so is. I know that it doesn’t always happen. Every single time.
“I know he’s not a number nine and that he might not like doing this.” Do you think he likes to run those routes to try to make the team work harder?
“He’ll do it because he has to; his will and desire speak.”
“That’s not how you win games.” Your 10 broken the line, came back, tried to bend his run, defended, and went to the other side. That doesn’t help you win games. After that, he gets turned over?
“I would have been too because I saw him kick a bottle.” Of course, I would be too. This isn’t good enough for me, and I don’t think they’re playing well as a team. Mbappe also needs to do a lot more with the ball.
