JACK GREALISH was observed on FaceTime with Aston Villa supporters after being excluded off Manchester City’s Champions League roster.
This week, Villa and City participated in European matches, with Grealish’s former team facing Club Brugge on Wednesday and his present team competing against Sporting CP on Tuesday.
Jack Grealish was seen on FaceTime with Aston Villa fans.It came after he was left out of Man City’s team to face Sporting.
A video shared to social media showed Grealish on a video call with Villa fans following their game in Bruges, where they lost 1-0 following an inexplicable handball from Tyrone Mings.
However, observing Grealish on the phone while they were in the pub appeared to elevate their mood.
They were heard chanting about Grealish during the call.
It went: “Take me on up to the spirit in the sky.
“It’s where I want to go when I die.
“When I die and they lay me to rest, I’m going to go on the p*** with Jack Grealish.”
Grealish was anticipated to be unavailable until following the international break.
Earlier today, he was named in Lee Carsley’s final England squad before Thomas Tuchel took over the club.
Grealish has experienced an inconsistent season after being excluded from Gareth Southgate’s Three Lions roster for Euro 2024.
He has made 10 appearances and recorded two assists, but has yet to score.
This week’s defeats in the Champions League marked the inaugural losses for both Villa and City in the competition this season.
This weekend, Manchester City will visit Brighton, while Unai Emery’s Aston Villa will face league leaders Liverpool away.
