After his horrific wound from Arsenal’s last match opened, KAI HAVERTZ was soaked in blood.
The event happened today during Arsenal’s 1-1 draw with Chelsea, the team the German played for in the past.
Havertz was engaged in a terrible head collision with Yann Bisseck in Wednesday’s 1-0 Champions League loss to Inter Milan.

He was patched up and finished the game in a bandage
Blood was seen streaming down the side of the face of the 25-year-old, who came out on the worst.
The injury he sustained in the dying seconds of the match necessitated his substitution.
Just before today’s London derby, Havertz had his cut stitched up, but he went for another header and his wound quickly opened again.
There were 55 minutes remaining when he collapsed, his head clenched in agony.
Resumption of blood flow from the wound temporarily removed the assailant from the field.
Despite referee Michael Oliver’s orders, a visibly irritated Havertz refused to leave the field.
It seems that Chelsea star Marc Cucurella tipped off the official about the blood.
Unfortunately, he was already on the receiving end of a yellow card for his stubbornness in not limping off the field.
After undergoing further treatment, Havertz was able to return to the field, this time with a head bandage.
Things did not go well for the Arsenal star on his Stamford Bridge return, seeing a goal he scored in the first-half chalked off by VAR for offside.
Gabriel Martinelli did finally open the scoring for the Gunners before Pedro Neto earned a point with an equaliser.
