Lionel Messi arrived in Argentina this morning to join the Argentine National Team delegation for two South American Qualifiers matches against Paraguay and Peru.

The captain of the “Albiceleste” left the heavy blow of an early elimination against Inter Miami in the Major League Soccer (MLS) playoffs and will play the last two matches of the season.

Messi landed at Ezeiza airport this Monday morning and went straight to a truck. However, his arrival was captured by television cameras, which focused on him while he greeted the staff who welcomed him at the venue.

Lionel Scaloni, coach of the national team, will conduct his first training session this afternoon with the players who have arrived in the country, as on Thursday 14 they will face their first match against Paraguay in Asunción.

They will then do the same with Peru, in La Bombonera, on Tuesday 19th. Once the commitments are made, Argentina will not be in action until 2025, the same will happen to Messi, who will not be in action until February next year.
