Jude Bellingham, a Stourbridge-born English football hero, took a break from his hectic schedule to visit aspiring football players at a local school.
McDonald’s fun football sessions were held on the Lea Vale playing grounds in Norton on Wednesday, September 13 by the Kixx Stourbridge football academy. Jude, a midfielder for Real Madrid, met with young players and their parents. Jude played for Stourbridge Juniors before joining Birmingham City as a young player.

After three years with Borussia Dortmund in Germany, Bellingham inked a contract with Real Madrid in June. He rose to fame really fast. England’s opening match against Iran in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar was thrilling. The first goal was his.
He later moved to Real Madrid as a result of his outstanding play, where he will play with some of the best football players in history.
Bellingham turned 20 this summer. Additionally, he supports McDonald’s Fun Football, the biggest grassroots initiative for children aged 5 to 11 in the UK. By the time he turns 25, Bellingham is expected to be England’s captain.
As part of his work, he also returned to his village. His accomplishments are commemorated by a large picture on the side of the Ryemarket shopping center.
“Wow!” Kixx Stourbridge shared information about the event on their Facebook page. What a fantastic occasion!
Jude Bellingham accompanied the children to Stourbridge for an enjoyable football match. The local McDonald’s fun football program, which begins this weekend, included this as part of its debut.
“He even met a few of our Kixx stars.” It’s difficult to determine if some of the parents or the teachers were more content than the children!
“He was so kind, making time for everyone even though he must have had a very busy schedule.”
One of the young players who had the opportunity to meet the football great was Archie-James Smith, a pupil at Hob Green Primary School.
The sports-mad six-year-old from Amblecote was ecstatic to see his hero.
