The Brazilian great Vinicius Jr. of Real Madrid will soon be in another big-name player documentary on Netflix.
Netflix, the biggest streaming service, has said that a new documentary about Vini Jr.’s life and work will come out in 2025. Right now, the 24-year-old is one of the biggest stars in the game, especially after a season in which he helped Real Madrid win La Liga and the Champions League.
This means that fans will be able to see into Vinicius’s life behind the scenes and learn how he got from Sao Gonçalo in Brazil to the Santiago Bernabeu. The forward has won many titles with Real Madrid and almost won the Ballon d’Or in 2024. Vinicius Jr. and Real Madrid did not like the choice to give the prestigious award to Rodri instead of them, so they skipped the ceremony. It is still unknown if the documentary will also talk about the controversy.
Vinicius isn’t the only football player who will be in a documentary coming out soon. Wayne Rooney, a fan favorite at Manchester United, is also going to be in a program about Wrexham after he takes over as manager at Plymouth.
The goal for Vinicius Jr. this season with Real Madrid is to add more titles to his collection. At the moment, Los Blancos are in second place in La Liga, six points behind leaders Barcelona. They play Leganes on Sunday, their first game back after the international break.
