The center-back jumped high to head home Arsenal’s third goal in the first half of their Champions League match in Portugal. The Gunners were having a great time.

After scoring, Gabriel rode off to celebrate. He crossed his hands and then raised them to his face, which is how Gyokeres always celebrates.

When the Brazilian made the move, his friends rushed over to him right away, but people on social media were quick to notice it.

Earlier in the game, Gabriel beat Swedish star Gyokeres in a number of fights and was even seen laughing at the crowd afterward.

In the beginning of the game, Gabriel Martinelli scored for Arsenal after Jurrien Timber played a nice pass across the box. Soon after, Kai Havertz doubled Arsenal’s lead.

Gabriel then scored their third goal by defiantly heading a corner kick over the goalkeeper and over the line.

Football got back into the game after halftime thanks to a shot by Goncalo Inacio. However, Arsenal scored back through Bukayo Saka from the penalty spot.

Rio Ferdinand talked about what Sporting Lisbon star Gyokeres would need to do to get to the “top bracket” of forwards before the game.

Ferdinand said this about him before Sporting’s game against Arsenal on TNT Sports: “I wouldn’t put him in the top bracket yet because he hasn’t done it in a top league.”

“With all due respect, the Portuguese league is great, but it’s not the best.”

“If he signs with a Premier League team, he’ll have to show who he is by changing to stand in front of everyone and say, “This is who I am.”

“He should go to Manchester United if he wants to win…” I’m not serious! He knows the boss, which is the most important thing.

“He’ll be licking his lips at the chance to begin a new season with a team led by a player who knows how to get the best out of you and has already shown that he can do that elsewhere. You’ll be going to a place where he’s rebuilding, and you’ll be a part of that process with him.”

He has 16 goals in just 11 games in the Primeira Liga this season. He also has five goals in four games in the Champions League, a few more in the Portuguese cups, and nine goals in six games (plus four assists) in the Nations League for Sweden, where he plays with Alexander Isak and could be very dangerous.

He has scored 67 goals in 69 games for Sporting and set up 19 others. Fans all over the world copy Gyokeres’ goal celebration, in which he covers half of his face with his hands to look like a mask. People are also arguing about where this move came from.
