Sport1 says that Bayern Munich is thinking about loaning Real Madrid player Aurélien Tchouaméni.
Rekordmeister failed in his bid to bring Declan Rice to Bavaria. The Real Madrid player is now seen as Thomas Tuchel’s ideal replacement. Bayern has talked to Tchouaméni’s management about the 23-year-old’s possible loan to Bayern if Real Madrid doesn’t want to sell him.
This isn’t to say that the German winners haven’t talked to the French midfielder yet; it could be a while. Because Real Madrid has a lot of competition in the middle, Tchouaméni might become available later in August, which is known to Bayern.
Tuesday, Tuchel told the press that Bayern is still looking for a possible number six: “From my point of view, there are only a few players who can make us better.” Sometimes these people can’t play, sometimes things happen that we don’t know about, or sometimes nothing happens for a few weeks. Let’s make sure everything is okay.
The Bayern boss would probably pick Tchouaméni first, but the Rekordmeister has other choices. The failed Borussia Dortmund signing Edson Lvarez is still liked in Munich, and a trade could happen there. But Tuchel is waiting for a player with proven skill in a top European league.
