Since the original post on June 29, over 79,000 videos with the #InMyFeelingsChallenge hashtag have flooded social media, and Zinchenko’s contribution added to the craze.
In his Instagram video, Zinchenko performed the iconic “driving” motion from the dance and tagged 12 others, including fellow Ukrainian international Yehven Konoplyanka, challenging them to join in.
The 21-year-old has been with Manchester City since his 2016 transfer from Russian side Ufa for £1.7 million. Last season, Zinchenko featured in 14 matches, including eight in the Premier League, along with appearances in the Champions League, League Cup, and FA Cup. Despite his contributions, he has been linked with a potential summer move, with clubs like Fulham, Wolves, and Newcastle reportedly interested in the versatile player, who is valued at around £16 million.
Zinchenko, Ukraine’s youngest-ever goal scorer, surpassed Andriy Shevchenko’s record and has earned 17 caps for his national team. He also appeared at Euro 2016, though Ukraine missed out on qualification for the 2018 World Cup.
