Martin Ødegaard and his wife, Helene Spilling, have welcomed their first child, a baby boy. The Arsenal midfielder announced in August that they were expecting, and Helene recently shared a touching photo on social media of the couple holding their newborn’s hand, captioned: “We love you so much, our little baby boy.”
.
The baby was born last Sunday, shortly after Arsenal’s 5-2 victory over West Ham. A source revealed, “Martin and Helene are both absolutely delighted, and Martin couldn’t be prouder.”
Ødegaard, 25, and Spilling, 27, made their relationship public in the summer of 2023, with Helene seen embracing him on the pitch after the 2022-23 season concluded. Last month, reports emerged that they had secretly wed, with Norwegian outlet Verdens Gang stating that Ødegaard has updated his marital status in the national register. Helene has also changed her name to include Ødegaard’s surname.

Helene is a talented professional ballroom dancer, having won 17 gold medals at the Norwegian national championships and winning the 2021 season of “Skal vi Danse,” Norway’s version of “Strictly Come Dancing.”
