Leandro Trossard celebrated his 30th birthday after Arsenal’s 2-0 victory over Manchester United. His milestone birthday fell on Wednesday, coinciding with the match at the Emirates.
Despite it being his special day, manager Mikel Arteta kept Trossard on the bench for most of the game. However, he came on for Gabriel Martinelli with 20 minutes to go, helping secure the win.
With three points in hand, Trossard was able to enjoy his birthday festivities afterward. His wife, Laura, shared a video on her Instagram story from the birthday party, showcasing a giant cake and balloons that spelled out “30.” Guests were also seen holding cardboard cutouts of Trossard’s face, and they joyfully chanted his name. Laura captioned the clip “birthday celebrations.”
The couple has been together since 2014 and married five years later. Trossard is having a productive season at Arsenal, participating in all their Premier League and Champions League matches so far. He has scored three goals in the Premier League and one in the Champions League.
He will return to action on Sunday when the Gunners face Fulham at Craven Cottage.
