Jack Grealish has secured the most lucrative boot contract ever awarded to a British footballer by becoming the face of Puma. The Manchester City winger, who had been with Nike since his teenage years, signed a deal reportedly worth around £10 million a season for five years with Puma, surpassing previous boot contracts held by players like Gareth Bale and Harry Kane, who earned around £3 million annually.
Nike was unable to match the financial offer from Puma, which provided a more tailored branding package for Grealish. He now joins stars like Neymar and Antoine Griezmann as one of Puma’s top talents. This marks Puma’s first major deal with a Manchester City player since they entered a kit partnership with the club in 2019, where manager Pep Guardiola has been an ambassador for the brand.
Johan Adamsson, Head of Sports Marketing at Puma Global, stated, “We want to make Jack one of the most important brand faces in football and culture.” He highlighted the opportunities for collaboration on fashion initiatives and Grealish’s causes.
In addition to his new partnership with Puma, Grealish is also a prominent ambassador for brands like Gucci and Bose, further enhancing his marketability. On the pitch, he has been a key performer for Manchester City and is eager to add a Champions League title to his accolades.

He expressed his desire to win major trophies with the national team and the Champions League as his next goals.
