The new Manchester United manager, Ruben Amorim, resides in a posh hotel that has hosted celebrities like Lady Gaga and Rita Ora.
Amorim stays in Salford, Greater Manchester, at the five-star Lowry. Manchester United’s home stadium, Old Trafford, is not far away.
From there, the Portuguese coach was driven to the Premier League powerhouse’s Carrington training facility early in the morning in a black people carrier.
During his incredible 895 days as United’s manager, Jose Mourinho, a Portuguese friend and teammate, slept at the upscale hotel. Now, the 39-year-old is also present.
However, Amorim is not anticipated to spend £500,000 as The Special One did.
In order to bring his wife, Maria João Diogo, and their two children with him, he may have already begun searching for a house in Manchester.
“Amorim wants to bring his family over and make their own home,” a United source stated.
“His captain Fernandez and many of the players have been mentioned as residing in the Hale and Bowdon area.” It’s just a short trip to their training facility.
“He could move into Ten Haag’s or Paul Pogba’s former residence.” But for now, he’s in the Lowry. He has drank coffee in a few locations and gone on a few walks around the city.
According to the insider, “he might meet Pep Guardiola or some City players who live nearby.”
Between Salford and Manchester, the Lowry is on the line. From there, the walk into the city takes only a few minutes.
The most costly hotel accommodation in Greater Manchester is the Presidential Suite, which costs £4,000 per night.
Among the well-known individuals who enjoy it are Ariana Grande, Kylie Minogue, Alesha Dixon, and Take That.
In fact, the hotel was the first in the UK to offer its guests face spa treatments in their rooms.
The Lowry has 165 rooms, many of which are reserved by United. Five to ten rooms are allocated the night before every home game.
Every player has a double, and team meetings are regularly held there by United managers.
Club officials would frequently search the hotel for listening devices since former manager Louis Van Gaal spoke to his players there for so long.
