Arsenal won a resounding 3-0 victory over Monaco in the 6th round of the Champions League last night. Thanks to that, the club jumped to 3rd place in the rankings.
Last weekend, Arsenal ended a run of four consecutive wins when they were held to a 1-1 draw by Fulham. However, the London club quickly bounced back. In the sixth round of the Champions League last night, they easily won 3-0 against Monaco at the Emirates Stadium.
Bukayo Saka was Arsenal’s hero in this match, contributing 2 goals and 1 assist. With this victory, the “Gunners” jumped to 3rd place on the rankings with 13 points.

Entering this match, Arsenal did not hesitate to push up the attacking formation despite fielding many substitute players. They created many scoring opportunities. In particular, striker Gabriel Jesus had two face-to-faces with the Monaco goalkeeper but both times he missed very regrettably.
Finally, in the 34th minute, the Gunners opened the scoring. Gabriel Jesus made amends when he crossed for Saka to finish into Monaco’s net.
In the second half, Monaco pressed forward strongly in search of a goal. However, they could not penetrate Arsenal’s defense. Not only that, at the end of the match, the team from the Principality continued to suffer painful blows.

In the 78th minute, goalkeeper Majecki and Monaco defenders did not coordinate well and lost the ball right in front of the goal. The ball fell to Saka. This player easily kicked the ball into Monaco’s net, raising the score to 2-0.
Not stopping there, in the 88th minute, Saka passed the ball to Havertz to score, sealing a 3-0 victory for Arsenal.
