Rasmus Hojlund took to social media to throw shade at Kyle Walker after the Manchester derby.
Manchester United secured bragging rights on Sunday, thanks to a thrilling comeback led by Amad Diallo in the final moments of the match.
This defeat adds to Manchester City’s struggles, marking just one win in their last 11 games across all competitions.
Following the victory, Hojlund targeted City captain Walker after a confrontation during the match. After City took the lead with a goal from Josko Gvardiol, Walker fouled Hojlund as he attempted to launch a counterattack.
The two players had a brief clash before Walker dramatically went down. TV replays later showed that there was minimal contact, leading to both players receiving yellow cards for their roles in the incident.
Former players Gary Neville and Roy Keane criticized Walker’s actions, calling them “embarrassing.”
In a post on Instagram after the match, Hojlund shared a photo of the altercation and captioned it: “Manchester is red, violets are blue. What a brilliant performance, but the Oscar goes to…”
