The close bond between Virgil van Dijk and Kevin De Bruyne is now becoming known to fans, even though the two play against each other in the Premier League. Off the field, however, they share a strong friendship.

Van Dijk and De Bruyne have traveled to Ibiza multiple times to see DJ Calvin Harris perform. During their first visit together in 2022, they posed for a photo with the famous DJ, which Calvin later shared on Instagram for his 11.4 million followers. Since then, the pair has been photographed together on several occasions.

In 2023, they attended another Calvin Harris performance, this time joined by Nathan Ake and Marcus Rashford. Van Dijk even went on stage with Harris at the Ushuaïa club, and the group took a memorable photo together.

This year, Van Dijk and De Bruyne continued their tradition, attending another Harris performance. Fans were excited when Calvin posted another picture of the trio, reinforcing the idea that, despite their rivalry on the pitch between Liverpool and Manchester City, the two are clearly close friends who put their competitive differences aside.
