Kevin De Bruyne gave his teammates personalized silver iPhones as a way to commemorate Manchester City’s historic treble-winning season.
Kevin De Bruyne gave his teammates 26 specially designed silver iPhones, each worth £5,000, prior to the start of the new Premier League season.
iDesign Gold, one of the world’s leading custom mobile manufacturers, created these opulent gadgets. At a surprise ceremony on Thursday, De Bruyne revealed the phones.
This kind act was inspired by Lionel Messi’s previous donation of 35 24-carat gold iPhones, valued at £175,000, to Argentina’s World Cup-winning squad and employees.
Pep Guardiola’s group is in talks to form a collaboration to produce distinctive iPhones that are influenced by De Bruyne’s concept.
“I’ve worked with IDG for a few years,” the 32-year-old said. Additionally, I adore their limited edition phones—they are truly artistic creations!
With Guardiola’s team winning the Premier League, the Champions League, and the FA Cup, City had its finest season ever in 2022–2023 and became just the second English team in history to accomplish this.
The great midfielder made sure that every player, Guardiola, and Sheikh Mansour, the club’s owner, received an iPhone 14 case with their names and the team’s insignia etched on it as a way to celebrate the victory.
