The English winger is currently on loan from Manchester United to Dortmund.
Zinedine Zidane and Jude Bellingham are rumored to have instructed Real Madrid to sign Jadon Sancho from Manchester United.
Sancho rejected Zidane’s 2017 attempt to recruit him to Real Madrid and instead relocated to Borussia Dortmund, where he rose to prominence before joining Manchester United in 2021.
When he joined United, however, he was unable to regain his Dortmund form. He was moved back to Germany on loan after his play deteriorated and his relationship with his new manager soured. He was reduced to a supporting role as a result.
However, before Jadon Sancho signed with Manchester United once more, Zinedine Zidane reportedly considered acquiring him a major priority. He took this action in order to bring in some fresh talent for 2019 and get rid of the bad players from his previous Real Madrid squad in the summer.
Zidane was willing to pay Dortmund’s asking price of about 80 million euros for Sancho, according to the German daily Bild. The Bundesliga squad, however, probably believed he was worth more than $100 million. The situation was being monitored by other teams as well.
Real Madrid changed their approach during the transfer window and signed more young players rather than seasoned veterans in order to build a club for the future. Vincius, Bellingham, and Rodrygo have all been great additions to Madrid.
Sancho is not only young enough, but has also performed on the largest stages. His ability to play with well-known players during his first season at Dortmund won him plaudits. Eden Hazard was one of his group’s exceptional players, along with Leo Messi.
Dortmund “will do everything they can.” to keep Jadon Sancho.Borussia Dortmund “will do everything” to keep Jadon Sancho, who is on loan from Manchester United, until the conclusion of the season, according to Sebastian Kehl, the team’s sports director.
In January, Sancho agreed to a new six-month contract with Dortmund. He has a 2026 contract with Manchester United. He established himself at Dortmund before making the big step to the Premier League in 2021.
At United, the England player has struggled. He has only appeared once in three games off the bench since a brawl with manager Erik ten Hag early in the season.
