The center-back William Saliba has reportedly been “offered” £80 million by Paris Saint-Germain to Arsenal, a deal that is “hard to refuse.”
Saliba joined the Gunners in 2019 and has since grown to be an important squad player. He didn’t play for the Gunners until 2022, but he has been a very reliable player for them for the past three seasons.
Except for a game in which he was sent off and the ensuing ban, the Frenchman has not missed a minute of action in the Premier League or Champions League this season.
However, according to Fichajes, Saliba’s employment at the club is in peril because PSG has “offered” €95 million (£80/$103.5 million) for his services.
In addition to the French powerhouses, it is believed that other prominent European teams have taken notice of his performances.
The source claims that although Arsenal wants to keep Saliba for a long period, the offer will be “hard to refuse.”

Another report is that PSG wants to sign Barcelona’s Jules Kounde, which makes it clear that they are eager to bolster their defense.
They reportedly want to pay €100 million (£84 million/$109 million) for his services, so it wouldn’t be strange if Saliba had received a similar offer.
If Arsenal loses the center-back, they will be at a disadvantage.
The departure of Edu, the club’s sporting director, who also joined in July 2019, has actually been made public. There will be large gaps that need to be filled right away when two key players leave at the same time.
Arsenal roundup: Edu could join rivals
Despite the news that Edu was leaving the club, it is still unclear exactly when he left.
However, TEAMtalk is aware that Nottingham Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis is a fan and might attempt to hire the director for his clubs.
Bukayo Saka needs to focus on his game, thus Arsenal has been told he shouldn’t be captain.
