Lionel Messi’s oldest son, Thiago Messi, traveled to Argentina with Inter Miami to play in Rosario for the Illinois Cup. After participating in a few games, including one against La Pulga’s favorite team, Newell’s Old Boys, the 12-year-old traveled nationwide to see other clubs.
Messi’s son started Sunday’s match at the Tita Mattiussi Premises against Racing.

Soon after, he went to La Bombonera to see Boca perform Gimnasia y Esgrima de La Plata with his uncle Matías. Thiago concluded his visit by taking some pictures inside the Mas Monumental stadium, which soon went viral on social media.
The Inter Miami U13 player was given a Millonario shirt as a gift and chose to wear it for a few pictures after entering River Stadium’s grass.

Thiago, wearing a shirt with his name on top and the number 10 on the back, thanked the Núñez Foundation for their generosity and walked onto one of the most famous fields in South America, the site of the Copa Libertadores final between Botafogo and Atletico Mineiro.
Thiago joined a group of postcards that included Benjamín Suárez, son of Luis Suárez, a key player of the American club’s training squad, and the complete Inter Miami trip to Argentina.
