After Isak’s standout performance in the 3-0 win over Aston Villa on Boxing Day, Howe described the Swedish striker as having “unbelievable quality.” He went on to praise Isak’s athleticism and age, stressing that the 24-year-old is exactly what Newcastle needs and that he is thoroughly pleased with his signing. Howe’s firm stance suggests that Isak is a crucial part of the team’s future, and the club will not entertain offers for him easily.

Arsenal and Liverpool may have to pay a hefty price if they wish to sign Alexander Isak from Newcastle United. With the striker under contract until 2028, Newcastle is in a strong position to command a high fee, and the club reportedly values Isak at £100 million.

As Newcastle’s form continues to improve, their chances of securing a Champions League spot are growing, which could make Isak even less available. If the Magpies do secure a top-four finish, it would likely be even harder for Arsenal, Liverpool, or any other suitors to persuade the club to part with their star player. Currently, Newcastle sits in fifth place in the Premier League, just four points behind Arsenal, with both teams in a tight race for a Champions League qualification spot.
