99,69% DEAL DONE: Man Utd is ready to break the back to swap deal featuring Victor Osimhen and Marcus Rashford to solve their striker crisis amidst relegation battle concerns! ⚽

It comes after Rashford turned down the opportunity to become the highest-paid English footballer ever.

MARCUS RASHFORD is apparently involved in a spectacular swap deal with Napoli attacker Victor Osimhen.

The Manchester United player, valued £60 million, has rejected down three tempting offers from Saudi Arabia, each earning up to £675,000 per week, as he remains focused on regaining his place in the England squad.

Victor Osimhen could be involved in a swap deal with Rashford

A transfer to another European club could provide Marcus Rashford with the opportunity he needs to rejuvenate his career, as Napoli’s Antonio Conte is reportedly interested in acquiring the unsettled Manchester United forward.

United’s manager, Ruben Amorim, who is under pressure to strengthen his squad, is eager to take advantage of Conte’s interest in Rashford, 27. This move could also open the door for United to pursue Napoli striker Victor Osimhen.

Osimhen, currently on loan at Galatasaray, has a £62 million release clause and could potentially make the move to Old Trafford this month. Since joining Napoli from Lille in 2020, he has made a significant impact, scoring 65 goals in 108 Serie A appearances.

Amorim is also reportedly keen to reunite with Sporting Lisbon forward Viktor Gyökeres but has decided not to sign players from his former club until at least the summer.

The Portuguese manager is facing challenges with a lack of goalscorers, having benched Rashford due to concerns about his performance standards before United’s 2-1 Premier League derby win against Manchester City on December 15.

Rashford has now been sidelined for five consecutive matches, coinciding with United’s struggles, which include three straight league defeats that have left them in 14th place and flirting with relegation.

In the meantime, the forward has declined lucrative offers from Saudi Arabian clubs that would have more than doubled his £315,000 weekly wage to an astonishing £675,000, choosing instead to focus on his career in Europe.

Rashford has been out of favour under manager Ruben Amorim in recent weeks

Catching the attention of new England manager Thomas Tuchel is a priority for the 60-cap forward, who hasn’t represented his country since March. Although he expressed in December that he is ready for “a new challenge,” sources indicate he hasn’t completely ruled out staying at Old Trafford, where he is contracted until 2028.

Manchester United could benefit from a significant transfer fee for the homegrown Rashford as they aim to comply with Profit and Sustainability Rules and provide manager Ruben Amorim with the necessary funds to reshape the squad. United had shown interest in Victor Osimhen last summer, but potential moves to Chelsea and Saudi clubs fell through.

The £35 million-a-year offer from Saudi clubs is nearly 70% higher than the £400,000 per week that England captain Harry Kane earns at Bayern Munich. Three Saudi clubs have made offers for Rashford.

Victor Osimhen’s situation at Napoli has been challenging under Antonio Conte, leading to his loan to Galatasaray. Despite this, Napoli is currently second in Serie A, with Rashford’s former Manchester United teammates Romelu Lukaku and Scott McTominay playing pivotal roles.

Meanwhile, Marcus Rashford is actively seeking a move this January. According to SunSport, he is in talks with sports agency Stellar to facilitate his transfer, potentially collaborating with his brother, Dwaine Maynard, for negotiations.

However, Bayern Munich has already rejected a deal with Rashford, and Juventus has shifted focus to United’s Joshua Zirkzee for a loan, citing concerns over Rashford’s wage demands.
