As Chelsea finalizes their transfer plans, Manchester City is reportedly preparing to make a move for Nicolo Savona, the 21-year-old defender from Juventus, this month, according to TBR Football.
Savona, who progressed through the Juventus academy, has established himself as a regular in the first-team squad this season. Primarily a right-back, he is also capable of playing as a centre-back, having made 15 combined starts in both the league and the Champions League.
Savona recently started in Juventus’s match against City, which has piqued the Blues’ interest in acquiring him. Additionally, Chelsea is looking to part ways with Kyle Walker this year, with several teams from Saudi Arabia reportedly monitoring his situation. This could create an opportunity for Savona to step into a key role at City if the move materializes.
