Messi, who recently moved to Miami for a lot of money last month, is seen waiting in traffic in a social media video when a fan recognizes him and comes up to him through his car’s window.

The Argentina captain rolls down the window and gives the child a handshake. The boy then tries to plant a kiss by leaning in.

The fan is overjoyed as Messi gives him a cheek kiss in response to their request. As he drives away, the fan can be heard yelling, “Te amo Messi” (I love you, Messi).

The fan appears to be on the verge of tears and is shaking his head in disbelief at what has just transpired before being kissed by a player who is widely regarded as the greatest in football history.

The United States is experiencing Messi fever this summer. When Miami’s latest celebrity signing left a restaurant in the city last month, another fan gave him a kiss.
