Cristina has been living apart from Guardiola for nearly five years, having moved back to Barcelona to manage her fashion company. However, she has continued to travel between Spain and London, spending time with the Manchester City manager.

Guardiola and Cristina first met when he was 18, modeling for designer Antonio Miro at her family’s clothing store, Serra Claret. Even as recently as January 2024, Guardiola mentioned that Cristina helps him choose his matchday outfits, showcasing her influence on his fashion choices. He praised her expertise in fashion, saying, “My wife is the best in the world at many things, but especially in fashion.”

The couple married in 2014 in a private ceremony in Catalonia and have three children: Maria, Marius, and Valentina. Their eldest daughter, Maria, is a model with over 900,000 Instagram followers, while Marius, 22, resides in Dubai and runs three companies. Valentina, the youngest at 17, is focused on her studies.

Cristina has been a supportive figure throughout Guardiola’s career, which began with Barcelona in 2008. Under his management, Barcelona won three La Liga titles and two Champions League trophies before he moved to Bayern Munich in 2013. After three successful seasons in Germany, Guardiola joined Manchester City in 2016, where he has since secured six Premier League titles and a Champions League trophy in 2023, completing a historic treble.

However, this season has seen challenges for Guardiola and City, with the team experiencing a dip in form, currently sitting sixth in the league and 12 points behind leaders Liverpool.
