Lionel Messi and his wife Antonela are currently enjoying a luxurious stay at the Four Seasons hotel in Paris, which costs around £7,000 a week. This getaway follows PSG’s successful pre-season tour of Japan, where the team won all three matches, including a 2-1 victory over Kawasaki, in which Messi scored.
Antonela shared glimpses of their lavish accommodation through a couple of short clips on social media, along with a heartfelt picture of the couple captioned: “With my ❤️❤️.”
The Four Seasons hotel can be quite pricey, with rates reaching up to £7,000 per night in peak season. However, this luxury is well within Messi’s means as he prepares for his second season with PSG. In the 2021/22 campaign, the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner had a commendable performance, scoring 11 goals and providing 15 assists in 34 matches.
Despite his ongoing commitment to PSG, there have been discussions about a potential return to Barcelona. The club’s president, Joan Laporta, recently expressed his belief that Messi’s chapter at Barcelona is not yet closed. He stated, “I don’t believe Messi’s chapter at Barcelona is over,” emphasizing the desire to give him a more fitting farewell than what transpired when he left.
Messi is set to become a free agent next summer, as he signed a two-year deal with PSG in 2021, leaving the door open for a possible return to his former club.
