Kylian Mbappe was visibly impressed during the unveiling of his incredibly detailed wax figure at Madame Tussauds. The 25-year-old forward, joined by his father Wilfrid and members of his entourage, pressed a red button to reveal the lifelike figure, expressing genuine astonishment at its realism. “He looks more like Kylian than me,” he joked, highlighting the craftsmanship involved.

Mbappe mentioned that the wax figure allows him to “create connections with people” even when he is not physically present. After admiring its features for a moment, he posed alongside the figure for photographers at the event in Paris.
The project reportedly required four hours of photography and meticulous facial and body analysis, capturing Mbappe’s signature folded arms celebration. It has been confirmed that the wax figure will eventually be moved to Madame Tussauds’ Berlin location, where an interactive football area simulates a giant stadium experience. Visitors can compete against football legends like Oliver Kahn, Joshua Kimmich, and Lionel Messi.

In light of his upcoming departure from Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the season, Mbappe took the opportunity to reflect on his time with the club. He stated, “I’ve always said that I will speak with you when the time comes, and so I wanted to announce to you all that it’s my last year at Paris-Saint-Germain. It’s a lot of emotions… a great honor to be a member of the biggest French club, one of the best in the world.”
He expressed gratitude for the experiences he had at PSG, acknowledging the pressure and growth he underwent while playing alongside some of the best in football history. “It’s a club that I will keep in my memory my entire life,” he concluded.
