In a thrilling North London derby, AWED supporters witnessed Leandro Trossard “break Pedro Porro in half” with such precision that the “whole stadium gasped.”
Porro of Tottenham writhed in pain and “embarrassment” as the Arsenal winger’s twisted move sent him falling to the ground.
For the remainder of the first half, Trossard was the center of attention as he led the Gunners to a 2-1 comeback triumph.
Spurs had taken the lead thanks to Son Heung-Min’s unexpected first goal.
Dominic Solanke, however, equalized in the 40th minute after Trossard won a contentious corner shot.
Before halftime, the Belgian himself slapped Arsenal’s winner.
Trossard’s “Cruyff turn” grabbed the attention of the audience, though.
He dummyed the Spaniard after darting to the left with his back to Porro.
Porro collapsed to the ground, clutching his leg, and nearly did the splits.
Trossard may have just hurt Pedro Porro with a Cruyff turn, according to one fan. It seemed like everyone in the stadium let out a gasp. Play is halted as he gets treatment.
“Leandro Trossard just ended Pedro Porro’s career,” someone else wrote.
Play was immediately halted by referee Simon Hooper so the injured Spurs player could get medical attention.
One admirer, however, asserted that the 25-year-old was merely dealing with a “embarrassment injury”
Someone more commented, “Trossard actually broke Porro in half.”
The former wide player for Sporting Lisbon played his Arsenal tormentor onside a little while later.
Rio Ferdinand, a commentator on TNT Sports, added: “I don’t think he’s recovered from that bit of skill earlier.”
Darren Fletcher, Ferdy’s coworker, went on to say: “The physio untied him first.”
