Bayern Munich’s Joshua Kimmich could be moving from Germany to Spain. German newspaper Bild claims that the 29-year-old midfielder is in talks with Real Madrid.
Kimmich sees the move as a good one and is attracted by Real Madrid. The midfielder sees the club’s Champions League prospects as very good. It is worth noting that Joshua is under contract with Bayern until the end of this season, meaning he can sign a pre-contract and move on for free in July.
However, Bayern Munich are quietly looking to extend the German midfielder’s contract. The team continues to talk to the player’s staff.
Kimmich could be a replacement for Toni Kroos. The Spanish side are looking for a player to fill the void left by the former player who retired last season (2023/24). In addition, the Bayern player also plays as a right-back, a position that Real Madrid are lacking.
