In continuation of last week’s collections for Bayern, Juventus, and Arsenal. The most recent Adidas team to receive a Terrace Icons collection is Real Madrid. The collection, which was created by the brand’s lifestyle-focused Originals division, maintains the purple tones that were most recently used in the club’s Chinese New Year collection. In contrast to that collection, which leaned toward a visual depiction of the Year of the Snake, this one honors the terrace culture of the 1980s by maintaining nostalgic vibes.

The collection pays homage to football fashion’s heyday. Each piece, which includes a full tracksuit, jersey, drill top, quarter-zip top, shorts, and Gazelles, has a distinct Madridista edge and evokes the terrace lifestyle of the 1980s.

The track top’s streamlined cut, woven label, and sewn-on club crest—small touches with a big impact—revive the classic Adidas aesthetic. The drill top, made of sturdy twill, has a bold Trefoil and a roomy fit that will take you right back to the stands, while the jersey combines dull-shiny fabric with a sewn Trefoil and emblem.
Then there are the Gazelles, which are a must for any serious fan of club fashion. They are a highlight item in the collection, wrapped in plush suede and featuring the recognizable T-toe and rubber outsole.
