On Tuesday night, Pep Guardiola, the manager of Manchester City, took a moment to enjoy the excellent cuisine at his restaurant Tast in the city center.
.
Guardiola and his spouse, Cristina Serra, spent the evening at the restaurant known for its Catalan food.
In February, the City manager, club CEO Ferran Soriano, and football director Txiki Begiristain purchased Tast, which is run by two-starred Catalan chef Paco Perez.

The restaurant is three stories tall, with a ground floor bar and casual dining area, a dining room on the first story, and private rooms with a tasting menu on the second floor.
Mikel Arteta, Brian Kidd, and former Manchester City player Mike Summerbee attended the July 12 premiere party for Tast, which opened after renovations earlier this year.
With head chef Perez already serving as the patron chef of two two-Michelin-starred restaurants, Miramar in Llanca, Spain, and Enoteca at the Arts Hotel in Barcelona, Guardiola will have high expectations for Tast. In Berlin, Perez is also in charge of the one Michelin-starred Restaurant Cinco at the Hotel Das Stue.
Guardiola also stopped by on Tuesday to check on the progress of his recent surgery.
.
It follows a demanding preseason in which the City manager managed the fitness of his returning World Cup players in the final weeks before the start of the new campaign.
But last Saturday, the Premier League winners’ championship defense got off to a great start with a resounding 2-0 victory over Arsenal, which undoubtedly gave Guardiola reason to unwind.
Guardiola’s team is well into the second week of training as they prepare to host Huddersfield at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday.
