According to a recent story, Vinicius Junior may make a spectacular move to Saudi Arabia after upsetting several of his Real Madrid teammates.

According to Sport, Luka Modric, who had to defend cover for Vinicius during their most recent 3-2 victory over Leganes, turned on the winger. According to the story, Vinicius has changed since losing the Ballon d’Or to Manchester City midfielder Rodri, and he reportedly departed the dressing room without talking to his teammates. Many members of the team are reportedly fed up with his demeanor both on and off the field.

Vinicius has struggled for form ever since that rebuff. He has only scored in two of his nine 2025 appearances and hasn’t scored in La Liga since November 9. According to reports, Madrid is currently discussing a new deal with the Brazilian, but their initial offer was rejected, and some club members feel that a sale would benefit everyone.

Vinicius could be offered a five-year contract worth €200 million (£167 million/$206 million) per season by an unidentified Saudi club, who are reportedly willing to spend up to €300 million (£250 million/$310 million) for him. Given that Madrid now has Rodrygo and Kylian Mbappe, who both have the ability to replace Vinicius, there is reportedly a school of thought that the club would be best off taking the money.
