In an effort to get back to play, BUKAYO SAKA intensified his recuperation from a hamstring injury last week.
Shortly after Christmas, the Arsenal winger had to have surgery after tearing his hamstring in December.
Saka has been speeding up his recuperation in recent days as he gets closer to making a comeback, even if he hasn’t yet resumed full training.
The 23-year-old was shown doing some strength and conditioning exercises in Dubai in a set of pictures posted on his Instagram on Monday morning.
One of the pictures also showed the scar from his most recent hamstring surgery on his right leg.
When Saka was getting close to making a comeback, Arsenal supporters were ecstatic.
One user wrote: “It will be like a new January signing…” in the comments section.
One more person commented, “This picture made me happy.”
In jest, a third said, “Defenders are shaking.”
Meanwhile, someone else wrote: “Starboy is back!”
Saka might be eligible for the opening leg of Arsenal’s Champions League last-16 matchup after his anticipated early March return.
It is also believed that Ben White is getting close to making a comeback.
When Arsenal plays Leicester City on Saturday, the defender, who hasn’t played since November, might return.
Gabriel Martinelli’s limping departure from Newcastle last week due to a hamstring injury dealt Mikel Arteta yet another setback.
It is anticipated that Martinelli will miss six weeks of work.
