Lionel Messi, who already plays for Inter Miami, has had an instant impact on American soccer. To help Leo feel as at ease as possible both on and off the field, Becks also called in Jordi Alba and Sergio Busquets.
Beckham is unintentionally turning into one of the greatest presidents of the modern era, but he appears to be thinking creatively about his next potential acquisition. Inter Miami was rumored to have approached Andres Iniesta and Luis Suarez, but none of those deals have occurred as of yet. Many suspicions were sparked by a recent appearance of David Beckham because of the player he was spotted with.
Inter Miami to acquire Luka Modric?
David Beckham was seen with none other than Luka Modric earlier this week on the Croatian island of Šipan. Pictures of the two midfielders began to circulate online, and some fans who were present even shared their own photos of themselves with the two football icons.
Since they spent this time together over a weekend when manager Carlo Ancelotti granted Luka the days off, they most certainly intended to meet there. Beckham appears to be laying the foundation for a hypothetical collaboration between Luka Modric and Leo Messi, even though Inter Miami is unable to sign him this season.
Modric will be free to attend any club he wants to by the time his contract expires in 2024. Florentino Perez is too appreciative of the Croatian midfielder’s contributions to the team to stop Modric from departing. Luka Modric will undoubtedly play considerably fewer minutes on the field now that so many young midfielders are joining.
Modric must play for a team where he can stay as active as possible if he wants to play international football for a little while longer. Playing with the greatest football player in history and at a slower pace are two benefits of Inter Miami. The possibility of Modric donning pink by 2024 is not completely ruled out.
