Ciro’s objective was strikingly similar to his father’s brilliant 2007 single performance versus Getafe.

Messi raced through half of the Getafe players after getting the ball within his own half. He then dribbled past goalkeeper Luis Garcia and passed into the bottom corner.

Messi scored the incredible goal when he was just 19 years old.

Before relocating to the US, he played for Paris Saint-Germain for two years after being forced to depart on a free transfer in 2021.

Thiago and Mateo, his other two sons, are also members of the club’s academy.
