Some claim that on Thursday, the night that his France teammates defeated Israel 4-1, Kylian Mbappe was spotted in a Swedish pub.
The fact that Mbappe skipped their Nations League matches against Belgium and Israel in order to play for Real Madrid is disliked by the people in his native nation.
After suffering a muscular injury a month ago, the attacker returned to action last Wednesday after coming off the bench in his team’s Champions League defeat at Lille.
He said he needed extra rest to aid in the healing of his hamstring, after playing 71 minutes in Real Madrid’s 2-0 victory against Villarreal over the weekend.
Mbappe was left off of France’s squad by coach Didier Deschamps because the 25-year-old wasn’t prepared due to insufficient playing time.
And after dining at Chez Jolie on Thursday night, Mbappe was spotted out and about in Stockholm with friends.
Aftonbladet claims that the night continued after that since he visited a nearby tavern.
On Monday, the French Football Federation (FFF) issued a video in which Deschamps discussed Kylian. “Kylian represents a lot of things,” he remarked. The FFF added that clubs and national teams will always have different objectives. Remember that the club, not the league, is in charge.
Mbappe finds it more difficult because, after playing for PSG, he is now the captain of France.
“I’m thinking about the captain’s position.” Coach Deschamps stated, “But, as I always do, the most important thing is to talk about it with the players.”
“Obviously, there will be other players for these two games because our captain, Kylian, and our vice-captain, Antoine (Griezmann), are both out.”
When asked how he selected the captain for the Nations League matches, Deschamps responded, “It’s more about whether I can find players who can handle this duty without it affecting their behavior or performance.”
For this reason, it’s critical that I get to know the players as a whole, including their personalities and levels of sensitivity.
Mbappe assisted France in winning the World Cup in 2018. In 86 games for his nation, he has scored 48 goals.
He finished third in France’s all-time goal total with 51 goals, behind Thierry Henry and Olivier Giroud (57 goals).
