In his hometown of Vienna, David Alaba has partnered with adidas to establish a community cage pitch.

Together with the adidas Football Collective, David gave back to his hometown by attending the pitch’s opening, playing a bit with locals, and providing a secure space for kids to play in Vienna.

With the conviction that sports can transform lives, adidas’ football collective is the brand’s community umbrella for adidas football.

From left to right, the wall displays David’s career in rapid succession. Alaba began his career at Vienna, Austria, and has since advanced through the ranks to become one of the most accomplished defenders in football. He has also held positions at Munich and Madrid and is now the captain of his nation.

With plans currently being finalized regarding leagues and tournaments, such as Caritas and the Kafig league, a grassroots table with the primary goal of bolstering communities while promoting organizations of all ethnicities, the cage will always be open to everyone.
