Nikola Jokic, a star for the Denver Nuggets, has once again demonstrated that the NBA offseason is his favorite time of year.
After his Nuggets were eliminated in the second round of the 2024 playoffs, the three-time MVP has been taking an early vacation.
The Minnesota Timberwolves defeated Denver in seven games in the Eastern Conference Semifinals.
Jokic’s offseason began in the latter part of May as a result of the defeat.
Additionally, the 6-foot-11 center appears to be maximizing his leisure time.
Earlier this week, a video of the Serbian performing his dance skills at a party surfaced on social media.
After a difficult season, NBA fans enjoyed seeing 29-year-old Jokic try to unwind.
“Bro don’t even remember he’s an NBA player in the offseason,” with an emoji of laughter underneath.
“Basketball is a side hustle for this guy,” with an emoji of laughter added.
“Can you imagine if Jokic liked basketball 1/4 as much as he likes the offseason,” someone another said.
“It should be illegal to be this tall and this damn smooth,” a person wrote.
Even when the Nuggets won the championship the previous season, Jokic was eager for the offseason to begin.
After Denver defeated the Miami Heat in Game 5 to win the championship, the six-time All-Star was informed that he would need to remain in the United States until the team’s parade later that week.
“No,” Jokic answered, his voice notably disappointed.
“I need to go home.”
Jokic was amusingly overwhelmed by the volume of congratulations he had gotten during the same press appearance.
Throughout the 2023–24 regular season, Jokic averaged 26.4 points, 12.4 rebounds, 9.0 assists, and 1.4 steals.
The 2024 NBA Finals, meanwhile, are turning out to be a highly biased event.
