Following his reunion with a former teammate, Manchester United supporters have pleaded with David de Gea to return.
The goalie, who is still looking for a new team, posed for a picture with Bruno Fernandes.
David de Gea and Bruno Fernandes are back together.
Additionally, Fernandes shared this photo with Victor Lindelof, De Gea, Tom Heaton, and Raphael Varane.
Since leaving United when his contract ended in the summer, De Gea has been without a job.
In recent weeks, he has hinted at a possible comeback to United, even going back to watch the women’s team play earlier this month.
In addition to meeting up with current Red Devil Sergio Reguilon while he was in town, the Spaniard had returned to the city to clean out his house.
Fans are now demanding that De Gea make a reappearance after he posted a selfie with Fernandes.
De Gea and Fernandes posted pictures of themselves wearing the colors of their eSports team, Rebels Gaming, to X, which was formerly Twitter.
Fernandes and Juan Mata then became shareholders once De Gea created the squad in 2021.
De Gea wrote, “Together again,” next to the photo.
His return was urgently demanded by supporters, one of whom wrote: “Return to the team.” We face a lot of obstacles in the future.
“Manchester United needs you, bro,” said another.
“Bring him back,” another fan remarked.
Fernandes also posted a picture of the two catching up on Instagram with teammates Victor Lindelof, Raphael Varane, and Tom Heaton.
De Gea just wrote “Brothers” in the comments area to express his love.
De Gea, who is only 32 years old, has reportedly considered retiring after failing to find a new team after leaving United.
During his twelve years at Old Trafford, he made 545 games and collected eight noteworthy prizes, including the Europa League and a league title.
De Gea is still an unregistered free agent after leaving Manchester United in the summer.
