Kylian Mbappe of Real Madrid was spotted wearing a £3,400 Dior jacket as he arrived in luxury to France’s training facility.
In preparation for their forthcoming Nations League games, Mbappe joined the France squad on Monday.
The French captain showed up sporting a varsity jacket from the Christian Dior and American artist KAWS collection.
In honor of the Year of the Snake, the jacket is a component of their Dior and Kaws collaboration.
This contains the jacket with the Dior insignia coiled into a green snake.
Dior claimed that the jacket, which retails for £3,400, is “crafted in white virgin wool” and has pink and yellow Dior and Kaws embroidery.
The back and chest are adorned with a snake-shaped patch that features Dior’s house signature.
The dot on the “I” in Dior is an apple, which in Chinese culture represents harmony and serenity.
On March 20 and 23, France will play Croatia in a two-leg quarterfinal of the Nations League, and Mbappe has been called up to the squad.
Due to fitness concerns, the France captain was not included in the October squad.
He then missed games in November, and head coach Didier Deschamps blamed his absence as a “one off.”
For the first time since joining Real Madrid on a free transfer from PSG last summer, the 26-year-old is expected to play for the French national side.
French allegations that Antoine Griezmann had withdrawn from international service due to a falling out with the forward have prompted Mbappe to speak out this week.
For more than ten years, Griezmann has been a vital member of Les Bleus, and he played a major role in their successful 2018 World Cup campaign in Russia.
After Griezmann’s choice, Mbappe was blamed in the French media. In 2023, the Real Madrid player was appointed captain at Griezmann’s cost following Huge Lloris’ retirement.
Mbappe acknowledged that he had discussed the matter with his teammate and that he understood his “disappointment” at being passed up, which fueled rumors of discord in the France camp ahead of Euro 2024.
“We speak with Antoine frequently,” he said to Le Parisien. I adore his son, who is an avid football lover and somewhat resembles me in my younger years. Amaro, I adore him.
After that, though, it’s true that things get tricky because our two teams are actual competitors in the same city.
However, I can promise you that we get along well with Antoine. I’ve already received several invitations from him to have a cookout at his house.
Although it hasn’t occurred yet, we will undoubtedly arrive. We share a building and live next door.
