Arda Güler’s future at Real Madrid is still up in the air, and a source claims that AC Milan wants to sign him on loan.
As Guler was set to leave Fenerbahce in July 2023, it was claimed that three teams were interested in signing him: Milan, Barcelona, and Real Madrid. He has since had trouble getting started, even though the latter eventually won the race to sign him.
According to NTV Spor, Milan’s effort to sign Guler on a loan was decided “after Sergio Conceiçao took over as head coach,” and as a result, his future has “once again become a topic of discussion.”
Even though things could change in the next days, Real Madrid doesn’t seem willing to let him leave just yet. Nonetheless, the teams have a great relationship, and the forward’s move to Milan might help Real Madrid.
The 19-year-old might develop and return to Real Madrid more stronger, as Brahim Diaz did after three years at San Siro, if he is given regular playing time at a great team like Milan. Güler has three goals and three helpers in 766 minutes played thus far this season.
